Through the College’s Workforce Pipeline Solutions brand, the BCCC Foundation is redoubling its efforts to assist BCCC students who want to pursue opportunities in high-demand career fields. Your donation can help students improve their quality of life and the communities where they live, and it enables employers to fill the labor gap in critical areas identified by the Governor’s Workforce Investment Board and Baltimore Workforce Investment Board. In response to student and employer workforce demands, the College has moved forward with these exciting new initiatives:
The BCCC Foundation was established in 1984 and is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of business and community leaders in the Greater Baltimore area. The foremost objective of the Foundation is to increase philanthropic support from individuals, alumni, businesses, organizations and friends as a means to directly invest in the educational mission of BCCC.
As a tax-exempt organization (Fed ID # 52-1361023), the BCCC Foundation may accept almost any item of value with corresponding tax benefits granted to the donor. Donors are encouraged to consult with their own accountant, attorney or financial advisor in order maximize the investment benefit of gifts to the Foundation.
Building a Foundation of Futures at Baltimore City Community College is imperative–today, this minute, this moment, right now!
At any given moment, 30,000 people in the world can carry BCCC forward. Whether they're alumni, friends, faculty, staff, trustees, students, parents, or others who recognize the value of a BCCC education, they have the BCCC Pride!

This is why the BCCC Foundation has created the BCCC Pride Society so those closest to the College have the opportunity to step forward and give generously to make ongoing support a sustainable objective. These individuals become the bedrock of our financial foundation by becoming a special donor group of monthly contributors committed to BCCC through electronic funds transfer.
So committed are BCCC Pride Society benefactors as a group they have allowed the BCCC Foundation to automatically draft their bank accounts or credit cards–month in, and month out–as a demonstration of their support for Baltimore City Community College.
Just think what a $25, $50 or $100 contribution each month can mean. Twenty-five dollars contributed provides $300 worth of resource books or CDs for the Bard Library. A monthly $50 donation means $600 and a semester scholarship for one student. And $100 a month annually creates $1,200 for new computer lab work stations.
This is the sort of solid foundation BCCC needs in times of uncertain State funding. BCCC Pride Society donors can take satisfaction in providing stability at a time when things have not been so stable. The BCCC Pride Society is the kind of support the BCCC Foundation can bank on. It’s all done within a secure online giving program.
Just call the BCCC Foundation Office at 410-209-6026 and let us know you want to become a member of the BCCC Pride Society! Establishing your own monthly giving program at a level that meets your budget helps BCCC close the sustainability gap. In return, BCCC Pride Society donors will be recognized in Foundation literature and on our website, and receive a special Society pin to show their BCCC Pride!
